Here at South Mitcham Community Centre we host a wide range of activity groups and community events, there is something to suit everyone.

Be sure to follow our social media to stay informed and updated on our upcomming events.

We are also always open to suggestion on new activity classes and events we can incorporate into the centre.

Education:

• Saturday School Tuition in Maths and English
• La Petite Fleur Pre-School Nursery by appointment Monday - Friday

Exercise:

• Karate Tuesdays and Thursdays for children and adults
• Reggaecise , Circuits and Flexability Training with Lisa
• Belly Dance for ladies only Thursday
  

Children & Young People:

• Uptown Youth Club Tuesdays
• Seedlings Stay & Play for under-5s with a parent Thursdays
• Ballet Classes from 3 years to adult Fridays
• Mustard Seed Church Sundays outreach to local young people for spiritual guidance
• Easter, Summer and Half Term activities for children 4-14, inc, Dance,Drama,Arts

Welfare:

• Help with CVs, Form-filling, benefits claims by appointment in Office Hours
• Photocopy, fax or print at SMCA in Office Hours
  
• SMCA’s Foyer has a wide range of advice leaflets, Referrals can be made to organisations offering help to individuals, and customers are Signposted to find the help they need

Over 50s:

• Young at Heart Lunch & Social Club Fridays for those who don’t get out much!
• Tamil Ladies Lunch & Social Club Mondays
• Get-Up & Go Chair-based exercise for over 50s Mondays and Fridays

Worship/Spiritual Wellbeing:

• Seventh Day Adventist Church Saturdays offer lunch to the needy
• Mitcham Church of Christ Sundays
  
• The Way Church
• Ahmadiyya Muslim Community Prayers, Peace Talks and Social meetings
• Good News Church Sundays
• AMG Cultural Evenings with ‘open-mic” performance opportunity for all on 2nd Friday of each Month
